Rod Johnson and Gavin King, head on
February 21st, 2008 | by Priyatam |It’s quite obvious that the folks at Interface 21 (Spring Source) and JBoss have quite opposite goalsets that are not necessarily complementary. While Spring subtly embraces Hibernate technology, JBoss seems to be committed to prove that _Spring_is_not_panacea after_all_.
I’ve been working on JBoss Seam for a few days now and if I’m not wrong, the days of blind faith on “Spring” are over; (more later) but for now, I’ll leave you with this sweet thread on Matt Raible’s forum where you can see Rod Vs Gavin, head on.
“Remember _why_ Java became successful: it was as much because of what you _can_not_ do in Java as because of what you _can_ do” — Gavin King

I’ve bitten the forbidden fruit of Seam, and I’ll never be the same again!
